Up-to-date topics
Videos, newspapers and magazines, such as the Economist and Gurdian will serve as a source of input reading assignments for each upcoming topic.
5 days before the next lesson you will receive activities to work on your vocabulary. You will cover the given topic before the lesson.
Interactive practice
User friendly platform with different online activities to help memorise and use the new collocations and phrases in context.
You will have access to the online platform where your can practice the new vocabulary with over a hundred activities, quizzes, online tests.
E-books
E-books with C1/C2 phrases and communication practice will help your preparation.
Self-study E-books will accompany your studies for each lesson, full of vocabulary building activities, reading and listening
Fun games
Using different online platforms enables the group to enjoy the process of studying and in the meantime have a variety of discussions on different topics. You will test your progress with weekly quizzes.
Fun topics, games and quizes will guarantee that you will enjoy yourself while practicing, learning and having your voice heard.
Writing tasks
You will have the chance to expand on a wide range of topic-based vocabulary activities between workshops on my oline platform.

Enhance your vocabulary effortlessly in small group speaking sessions. We will focus on different speaking skills: giving your opinion, presenting ideas, negotiating, creating emphasis etc.
We have a weekly speaking session online, with uniquely designed activities to put the new vocabulary in practice, without even noticing it!

How many students will attend each class?
Minimum of 4, maximum of 8.
What should be my level of English to participate?
A strong, confident B2 is a must, but preferably close to C1.
What platforms do I need to use?
Workshops will be held on Zoom and we will use other apps as well. All of them are absolutely easy-to-use.
What if I don't want to take the exam? Just want to practice speaking.
No worries, you are in a perfect place! The workshops are designed to boost your communications skills: elaborating on ideas, presenting, agreeing, disagreeing, negotiating, persuading, coming to a decision etc. These are real-life skills which are also tested in the exam - but it truly does not matter where you will show off your newly learnt vocab. You will impress anyone!
What happens if I have to miss a workshop?
No problem! You will automatically get each E-book, as well as reading assignments, and you will have access to the online vocab database.
MEET YOUR TRAINER
I am Beatrix and I have been working as a Cambridge Exam tutor for 20 years.
I have been working for several Cambridge Exam centres and have been preparing hundreds of students for both general and professional Cambridge exams over this period.
I have been organising my own Cambridge Prep Courses - both in my languge studio and online - ever since the pandemic hit in.
I believe that students at this level can and should self-train in terms of vocabulary building and grammar structures. Therefore, although we deal with both vocabulary boost and grammar points during each class, I strongly believe that practicing and mastering these areas are the responsibility of each student individually.
While I give plenty of extra materials, I do expect my students to use these materials creatively, think independently and always within the given context.
To do so, I expect a high level of self-motivation & initiative from the part of my students to find their own responsibility on the path of language learning.
I consider myself extremely lucky that most of my students joining my classes are undeniably striving for these aspects already, by themselves, so the exam pass-rate among my students has been almost 100%.
