âď¸ Having a chat with a native in English? âď¸ Watching a NETFLIX movie and understanding it? âď¸ Giving a successful business presentation in English? âď¸ Understanding the contract of your client? âď¸ Travelling abroad?
Here comes the secret: Having fun is the CORE of the whole language learning process! Let me explain why.
Many of us find sitting in a classroom dreadfully painful. After all, we are all very busy people! We have places to be and things to doâit is hard to make time in our schedules for English classes. And English classes areâŚ. well, most of the timeâŚ. boringâŚ. đŠ How to study English without ever sitting in a classroom??
There are a whole lot of options! đ
The goal isnât to add stress to your life, but rather to remove it. The best of us couldnât bring ourselves to do something we hate consistently, so make getting in shape or learning a language fun, however you do it.
- That could be participating in a sport event you love in English (there are a lot in Budapest, eg. Aumjoga) or - travelling abroad with a good friend, âď¸ - joining an English club with natives đ¨âđ¨âđ§âđŚ (eg. at ĂlesztĹ BĂĄr every week!) so you can meet new people, or giving yourself one âfree dayâ per week where you forget about your English Grammar and go drinking đˇ into one of the ruin-pubs of Budapest where you will bump into foreigners in the first 5 minutes - or if you don't feel like drinking, đ watch an English film at home! đĽđď¸
So, here is your task for today: Find an activity you particularly enjoy doing and.... and go for it! Today!
